Hi! I'm Cori

My work includes Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Reiki Touch. I also teach healing exercise & stretching as well as various mindfulness practices.

My approach to healing weaves these techniques into individualized sessions so that you can experience more freedom in your everyday body.

Professional Bio

My journey towards wellness began when I became certified as a personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise way back in 1999. One thing led to another and I found myself  back in college to finish my degree. Majoring in Exercise Science turned into Business Management and I received my Bachelor of Science in 2005. A year later (and a big move later),

I enrolled in Massage Therapy School at Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy in North Carolina. Upon graduation I became Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and State Licensed as a Massage Therapist. Lots of continuing education for maintaining my creds led me to John F. Barnes’s approach to Myofascial Release. This gave me the opportunity to not only add a complementary approach to my massage practice, it also allowed me to travel with my family from coast to coast learning new skills and receiving incredible self healing along the way.

OUR FIRM

Further, I became a practitioner in the traditional Reiki method taught through The Reiki Center of Columbus and also had the pleasure of studying meditation with Jasmine Grace. As I continued my meditation practice, I began more in depth studies with The Summers School of Yin Yoga and Meditation, where I also became certified to teach these practices. As my journey continues my passion for learning has led me to study corrective exercise with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and in addition to running Everyday Bodywork, I’m honored to serve as an Alumni Mentor with Held in the Heart’s Express & Emerge Program.

Oh, and just

to be clear:

While I was studying and getting all these fancy pants certs,

I was also going through A LOT of other life stuff.
